There is something so therapeutic in waking up slowly and making a leisurely cup of coffee. It sounds silly but it's an important time to stop and think about what you want to accomplish in your day. If you've never had Vietnamese coffee, it's a real treat. Blended with chicory, it's usually served with sweetened condensed milk. You can drink it hot or iced- the recipe in ESC is for iced.

Difficulty: Easy
Tips & Tricks: The metal press is perfect for one quick cup, but this can easily be made in a french press instead.
Easy Substitutes: If you're making this day-to-day its best not to consume all that sweetened condensed milk but I'm not gonna tell you how to live your life. I try to avoid dairy as much as possible so I'll sub almond milk if I'm craving that chicory kick.
Pair With: Breakfast and a book.
Make Again?: My boyfriend is hooked, we're making it all the time now!
